After the announcement of waypoint 6 of the Distant Worlds 2 expedition three days ago, we have been receiving reports of vessels disappearing shortly after arrival in the system.
Further investigations have revealed that the original meeting point, “Aloros Ravine” in the Dryau Ausms KG-Y e3390 system, is suffering from serious and unpredictable gravitational anomalies that are literally making the place a spaceships’ graveyard.
Co-leader of the expedition Erimus Kamzel has sent this message with top priority on all communication channels:
Gravitational anomalies have been reported by commanders attempting to land at the designated basecamp. Therefore we advise pilots to instead meetup and organize basecamp activities at the following location:
Basecamp: “New Aloros Ravine”
Planet: AB 8 A A
Radius: 702 km
Gravity: 0.08 G
Location: Surface Signal: Geological (7) – Iron Magma Site
Coordinates: 54.6234, 161.2067
With these new directions you should be able to land and join the weekend meetups without incident.
